As we face an enormous state budget deficit and difficult choices to be made around balancing the budget, the Ways and Means Committee (the group of Representatives and Senators who put together the budget proposal I'll be voting on) will hit the road for a series of public hearings across the State.

In addition to providing an opportunity to hear public input on budgeting priorities, the Committee will provide a survey tool that enables you to get acquainted with the budget figures we're wrestling with, and enable you to share your views on proposed revenue increases and service cuts.
