Where should Oregon get its funding?
Dear friends,
Many of you participated in an online dialogue on state spending and taxes we put together several weeks ago. Your responses were informative and helpful for me, but they also raised several questions. Foremost among them, quite a few of you wanted a chance to comment more specifically on how Oregon should structure its revenue base. The first dialogue is found here, and the results are here.
We have created a follow-up dialogue to hear how you would like the tax incidence distributed. Please participate, and feel free to forward this on to others in the district!
Additionally, I invite you to join me at Karma Cafe on 82nd Ave. & Harrison St. tomorrow morning. I'll be in from 10 to 11 am. It's just a chance to say hello, catch up on how the legislative session is going, and share your thoughts - it's very informal.
And, as always, feel free to reply to this email or call at the office, 503-986-1446. I'm grateful to all of you who have been in such good contact.
I hope the spring is treating you well!
Best regards,
