House Bill 2705 changes residency requirements for Oregon college students in order to ensure that all students who have attended Oregon public schools for the 3 years prior to graduation are eligible for in-state tuition.
House Bill 2706, filed at the request of a constituent, allows parents who are dependent upon their adult children for financial support to receive worker's compensation benefits in the case of their child's death in the workplace.
House Bill 2927, filed at the request of a constituent, calls for the formation of a task force to ensure that our anatomical donation facilities are doing their jobs with professionalism and integrity.
House Bill 3472 alters the state legislator per diem by linking the amount each legislator receives during session to the mileage between the representative's district and the capitol.
House Bill 3473, filed at the request of a school district fiscal officer, allows school districts to join with other school districts to obtain cheaper energy rates.
Joint Resolution 54 refers a constitutional amendment to voters that will establish a floor for school spending.
House Resolution 3 urges our high schools, community colleges, and universities to offer more classes in Mandarin Chinese and more opportunities to study abroad in China.
